Wake Early College of Health and Science (WECHS) is an early college high school focused on health and sciences. WECHS provides students with opportunities to explore careers in the health and sciences through partnerships with Wake Technical Community College (Wake Tech) and WakeMed Health and Hospitals. This five-year public high school program allows students to earn a high school diploma, an associate degree, college transfer credit, and certificates as well as complete prerequisite courses for health sciences degrees. College credits completed while enrolled at WECHS are tuition-free and are transferable to all sixteen of North Carolina's public universities. Students follow a rigorous high school program of honors classes for the first two years. For the remaining years, students are dual enrolled in Wake Tech courses. |

Come visit the Albright Entrepreneurship Garage to learn about all we do at NC State Innovation and Entrepreneurship. We will talk very briefly about our space and programs, as well as feature several student entrepreneurs on-site to chat with about their experience as the next generation of leaders currently at NC State. Fitts-Woolard Hall The Center for Additive Manufacturing and Logistics (CAMAL) lab at NC State is the southeast's premier advanced manufacturing research demonstration facility. Visitors will see the 17000 sq ft facility and numerous manufacturing operations and how we use advanced technology, including laser and election beam-based metal 3D printing, computer-controlled milling, advanced robotics and metal powder production to push the boundaries of materials and processing for extreme applications. This work builds on a long tradition of innovation and helps us create the next generation of manufacturing solutions.Teaching and Visualization Lab Hunt Library |
